Gosh, thank you!
Hey friends, I just wanted to share a quick follow after my Signing at Gosh comics on Friday.
Firstly a huge thank you to Gosh for having me, and to my friends for coming to see me, and to any fans who came out too. It really means the world to me, thank you so much.
Doing an event like this can be extremely daunting, it’s like being in a band again, asking friends to come to a show, hoping some will, but knowing most won’t. That’s not throwing shade, it’s just how life is. I’ve played plenty of gigs to nobody before! But some really lovely pals did come, and it was so great catching up with them.
It’s scary putting yourself out there, and it depletes my emotional energy. However, the folk who work in Gosh are really wonderful, kind, supportive, and just a nice lot.
It wasn’t super busy, it was an icy cold and wet winter’s evening afterall, but some fans did brave the weather to come to see me, and that is just the most wonderful feeling in the world.
So this post is really just to say thank you. Here are a few pictures from the night. Faces are avoided apart from my own.
