This is my first paid subscriber-only post. Because I don't have many paid subscribers (hey Han! Thank you so much for the support!), I figure the least I could do to say thank you is share some of the behind-the-scenes in-progress work, which isn't ready for general consumption but occupies a lot of my time.
First, I will be exhibiting at The Lakes Comic Art Fest next weekend, and as part of that event I have a bunch of meetings with European publishers to discuss translation rights to my Haru books (which sounds more impressive than it really is — I did it last year too and it was a bust), but I also received a meeting request from another US publisher. So I've been trying to prepare myself for that as best as I can.
